Rimmel Stay Matte vs Maybelline Fit Me!

Which ones a better pressed powder?

(Rimmel London Stay Matte in 004 Sandstorm and Maybelline Fit Me in 315 Soft Honey)

Maybelline Fit Me Claims:
• To match your natural tone
• Blennd seamlessly
• Lets skin breathe.

What it really does?
I find that whenever I use this powder it leaves my skin really oily at the end of the day. What Maybelline forgot to mention was that this had sparkles in it. When you apply this and look really close you'll see your face a slight bit sparkly but when you look from far away you won't notice the shine. Aside from the sparkles, this is a really high coverage pressed powder that covers my pimples really well and didn't dry them out!

Who would I recommend this to?
Anyone that doesn't have oily skin because if your looking for a pressed powder that will keep you matte all day, than this one isn't for you. However,on the other hand people with dry skin will love this powder instantly if A) you want a medium-full coverage B) a bit of sparkles or C) a powder that doesn't dry you out.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Claims:
• Up to 5 hours of shine control with natural minerals
• Minimise the appearance of pores

What it really does?
The Stay Matte lives up to all it's claims! The reason being whenever I wear this and check up on how my makeup is doing at the end of the day, it doesn't seem to get super oily. Not only does this  have shine control but an amazing coverage also! The Maybelline Fit Me and this have the same coverage but this one's more natural (meaning no hidden sparkles inside).

Who would I recommend this to?
People with oily skin will adore this powder because I sure did! I loved this product so much I went so walmart and bought 3 more of these! Trust me you will because this will help control the shine , we oily people face.

Whose the Winner?
Sorry to say this Maybelline, but I'm declaring Rimmel Stay Matte as the winner! This product is just the best thing you will find in drugstores.

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara

Hola peeps! I recently (more like right now) bought Maybelline Great Lash Clear mascara at walmart for $4.96. I thought this would be a perfect mascara to use when your swimming of getting wet. This is versitle because you can use it as a mascara or a brow gel.

Okay on to what I thought about this product. I have never tried a clear mascara before, so I'm really exciting to be trying Maybelline Great Lash. I opened this and the smell is not revolting at all, it actually smells pretty good. If your looking to use this as a mascara...well goodluck! It's just to WET and it doesn't give me the volume or length I'm looking for. However, this is a fantastic gel for your brows. It kept my eyebrows looking really natural and this just tames my eyebrows making it go one direction!

Overall Review
You won't be seeing me use this for my lashes but you'll most definitely see me using this as my new brow gel! I love how it looks on my eyebrows but I just wish Maybelline would make this tinted!

Cute Organizers ❤️

Where do you put your makeup?

(Just had to post a picture because my face felt perfect and glowy)

For me I just use these cute pastel colored pencil holder to put all my lips and eye products in. They cost about $1.99 each at Ikea. To keep all my powder, bronzer, lotion and foundations, I use this pink woven basket I got from Bath and Body Works. This cost about $6.99 each but I only got it for $1 because they were having a huge sale!

Well that's how I organize my makeup, how do you? Answer my question above in the comments below because I'm quite curious to how you guys organize your makeup!

Hair 101: Frizzy Hair

I once was a young girl with horrifying frizzy hair but that all changed with this amazing hair product! Soaring to new heights with hair to die for like a...DOVE! Don't underestimate this drugstore brand because you'll be amaze of how much it will de-frizz your hair.

What I used was Dove damage therapy cool moisture and it did wonders for me! I had thick frizzy zigged zagged hair when I was in elementary school. That all changed the day my mom went to Costco (keep on reading I swear it gets better). We were going through the shampoo/conditioner section and when she came across Dove damage therapy cool moisture, she immediately thought of me. I bet you know what happens next, I started using this magical product and my hair just became pin straight. Well, yes but it took awhile for the product to work and the great thing about this is, once your hair becomes de-frizzed you can stop using Dove and go back to your regular hair product. I recommend Balm de Terre because that's what I'm currently using right now and I've seen long lasting result for my color hair.

Hope this helped you gals with frizzy hair waiting to be tamed! Comment if this product worked for you and give me a +1 if you liked this! Follow me on instagram @vanesazz

Baremineral vs Estée Lauder

I bet you've all herd of the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation that every beauty gurus is in love about, but is it really worth the hype? Deciding to try this foundation myself, I went to Sears to get the double wear foundation applied. However, just a week after I herd of the Bareminerals Ready Foundation. I knew I had to try this one out too, so I went to Sephora and had the girls apply it on for me. After debating long and hard on which foundation to buy, I've finally came to my decision. But first lets go over each foundation.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Pros
• medium to full coverage
• lightweight on your skin
• has a variety of shades to choose from
• oil free

Cons
• drys out your skin if you have dry skin or combination (use moisturizer before applying)
• looks cakey when you look up close but a far you look flawless

Verdict: This foundation just wasn't for me sadly because I have combination skin and it drys out my skin. Plus I'm not a fan of the whole cakey look but if you want flawless coverage, than this is for you.

Bareminerals Ready Foundation
Pros
• medium coverage but buildable
• lightweight on your skin
• SPF 20
• hydrates your skin

Cons
• has a bit of shimmer in it

Verdict: When the Sephora girls applied it on me, I instantly fell in love with this foundation. This is a powder foundation that makes my skin look natural but also covers my imperfections. Bareminerals Ready Foundation wins the battle between the foundations battle.

So the right one is me wearing Bareminerals Ready Foundation and the left is me wearing Estée Lauder Double Wear (my pimples went down after I applied the double wear).

Hope this helped you guys on deciding which foundation to get because I know how it feels like debating on which foundation to buy. If you liked this give me a +1 or comment what you want me to blog next!
